Why Visit Corregidor Island?

Corregidor Island is a small, rocky island guarding the entrance to Manila Bay. It played a crucial role during World War II, serving as a defense stronghold against Japanese forces. Today, the island is a living museum, showcasing remnants of historic battles, including:

  • Malinta Tunnel – A wartime bunker and hospital used by General Douglas MacArthur.

  • Battery Way & Battery Hearn – Massive artillery used during the war.

  • Pacific War Memorial – A tribute to fallen soldiers.
